“Head Trauma” is a comedy about a meek asian-american girl, Jenny Kim, who gets a head injury and loses her ability to control her impulses. Her perfectly composed life is rattled to its core when she discovers that her head injury is making her into someone that she could never take home to mother. She revels in her new identity, and prepares for the upcoming poetry slam at the coffeeshop where she works, until, to her utter disappointment, her doctor tells her that she’s fully recovered.
