THE BEST GIFT IS GIVING!

‘Tis the season of generosity! We at POWFest are so appreciative of each and every one of our sponsors, donors and volunteers. You are all what makes this festival happen. Please consider POWFest/POWGirls in your year-end giving this year. Make your tax-deductible donation here

Your support also allows us to host fantastic filmmakers from around the world, providing space for women directors to come together and celebrate the POWer of Women!  Just last year, we hosted filmmaker Jacobie Gray, who flew in from Australia with her film AQUARIUM.

We need your help this next year to continue this work! If you are interested in supporting the 2017 POWFest? Check out our 2017 Sponsorship Kit for all the details!

2017 POWGirls Workshops Dates Announced!

PGWinter16POWGirls will be hosting five workshops in 2017! Do you know a girl 15-19 that is interested in film production and advancing their knowledge of production and editing? POWGirls is an excellent opportunity for girls to get started on their filmmaking journey.

POWGirls offers workshops in video production, cinematography, audio recording, set lighting, digital editing and media literacy. Our instructors are working media producers who inspire girls to be creative, tech-savvy leaders who will help realize gender equity in the film industry. All films produced during POWGirls workshops are screened at the Portland Oregon Women’s Film Festival (POWFest).
