When two teen sisters discover that their family holiday abroad is really a plan by their parents to deliver them both into forced marriages, the girls flee home to find their own ways of remaining in Edinburgh, testing the limits of their bond and the resolve of the adults who control their futures.
ABOUT THE DIRECTOR
Bita Shafipour is an Iranian-American filmmaker based in Scotland. Her latest short film LAST NIGHT IN EDINBURGH was premiered at Palm Springs ShortFest and won a BAFTA NewTalent. She has degrees in cinema and screenwriting from USC & UCLA. She teaches film production at Edinburgh Napier University.
